Programme
Afternoon hotel pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel in the early afternoon. The Super Safari runs in the second half of the day to capture the best sunset and stargazing conditions. Comfortable desert attire and closed shoes recommended.
ATV quad ride through the dunes
A 90-minute guided quad (ATV) ride through open desert — dunes, dried valleys, and panoramic ridgelines. Helmets and goggles provided. Both beginners and experienced riders welcome.
Bedouin village visit
Your convoy pulls into a traditional Bedouin encampment. Welcomed with mint tea and Egyptian coffee, shown traditional handicrafts, and given time to explore the camp.
Sunset camel ride
A short camel ride across open sand as the sun sinks toward the horizon. Photography stop included — the Hurghada desert at golden hour is one of the most memorable backdrops of the trip.
Bedouin BBQ dinner under the stars
Full dinner prepared over an open fire: grilled meats, kofta, salads, bread, and side dishes. Served on low cushions around the fire. Soft drinks included; shisha available on site.
Night return & hotel drop-off
Your driver returns the group to Hurghada. Hotel drop-off approximately 21:30–22:00. Total from pickup to drop-off: approximately 7.5–8 hours.
About This Trip
The full Eastern Desert in a single day. We pick you up from your hotel and drive straight into the dunes — by the time we reach the camp, the road traffic and resorts already feel a world away.
The day combines everything the desert has to offer: an off-road jeep ride to a panoramic dune ridge, a session on a brand-new quad through soft sand, sandboarding down the steeper slopes, and a slow camel ride through the wadi. Each activity runs with a proper safety briefing and the right gear.
Midday is spent at a working Bedouin settlement. Hot tea brewed over open fire, a traditional lunch eaten on cushions in the shade, and a real conversation with the family — none of the staged tourist show, just the version of desert hospitality our team grew up with.
We close the day at a sunset point on a high ridge — colors changing over the Red Sea and the mountains, drinks served, time to slow down before the drive back. Pickup is included from Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Soma Bay and Hurghada; El Gouna and Safaga are available as paid add-ons.
